"You Can Count On God"

"Does not He see my ways, and count all my steps?" (Job 31:4)

God is surely, among many other things, the Greatest Mathematician. All the intricacies of structure and process of His mighty cosmos are, at least in principle, capable of being described mathematically, and the goal of science is to do just that.

This precise intelligibility of the universe clearly points to a marvelous intelligence as its Creator.

God even counts “the number of the stars; He calls them all by their names” (Psalm 147:4). Astronomers estimate that at least 10 trillion trillion stars exist in the heavens, and God has counted and identified each one! And that is not all: “the very hairs of your head are all numbered,” (not counted!) Jesus said (Matthew 10:30).

From the most massive star to the tiniest hair, God has counted each component of His creation. Such countings are far beyond human capabilities, for, “the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured” (Jeremiah 33:22).

But God has also created, “an innumerable company of angels” (Hebrews 12:22) and has promised that the redeemed are “a great multitude, which no man could number” (Revelation 7:9).There now! Stop putting a limit on them!

No wonder David exclaimed,
Many, O LORD my God, are Thy wonderful works which Thou hast done, and Thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto Thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered (Psalm 40:5).

There is also a type of mathematical precision about His Word (Logos) When translated correctly and understood in context every single jot and dot is relevant.God stands over  His Word to honour and fulfill it but remember He is in no ways obliged to honour erroneous translations.

Perhaps the most wonderful of all God’s counting activities is that implied in Job’s rhetorical question: “Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?” If He has numbered the hairs on our heads, we can be certain He numbers our steps along the way, and guides them all.(He has no need of a stepometer!)

The steps of a man are not only numbered but also  ordered by the

100 Questions

100 Questions Without Answers by Thomas Kissinger ( http://www.hearingthetruthofgod.com/ ) God has been asking man questions since the beginning of time. He started in Genesis 3:9 and has continued until the present. Why does God ask us questions? Why should we ask ourselves questions? Why should we ask others questions? Why did Jesus answer the questions that he was asked by the religious leaders in His day by asking them a question in return? The answer is simply this: God wants to engage man into the thinking process about Him. More importantly, God wants us to think about His plan, purpose, power, and pleasure . All the answers to God’s questions can be found as one diligently searches for the knowledge of the previous statement. Without an understanding or knowledge of God’s plan, purpose, power, and pleasure, these questions will certainly be very frustrating to the reader. On the other hand, if we search for an understanding of the purpose of the ages, we will be pleasant...

My God Is A Happy God

My God Is A Happy God According to the glorious good news of the happy God, which was committed to my trust  (I Timothy 1:11). God has never lost control of His universe. He is in charge – always has been, always will be. Every plan of His is right on schedule, and one day He will reach His glorious consummation and be  “All in all”  (I Corinthians 15:28).  Therefore, regardless of what religion thinks or says to the contrary, Father is happy. He is  “the happy God,”  and He is the only true source of our own joy and happiness. Then, since Father is happy, His children can be happy. After all, those of us who already know God for Who He truly is, and have already been made His righteousness, can be happy. Even as David also describes the happiness of the man, unto whom God credits righteousness apart from works, saying, “Happy are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Happy is the man to whom the Lord will not cha...
